Giuly was actually causing more problems than Messi did. Messi i feel is too inexperienced and showboating. Sure he is skillful, sure he takes defenders on, but he was friggin slipping all over the place and almost all the loss of footing came at decisive moments

I have always liked Giuly since he burst at Monaco. Pretty under-rated and now under-used by Barca. Messi just didnt have the brain to make things happen today, Giuly could have been more decisive had he been starting - as I said - with Messi replacing him in the final 20 min just for the hype.

im not a barcelona fan but i just caught this game while i was at the gym. Wow that the hell is wrong iwth etoo? I know he just came back from the huge injury and just recently started playing but he kept on trying to these ronaldo impressions. I mean i know you can dribble but when jamie carragher owns you 5 times in a row you probably want to pass the ball.

I have watched them all. 100% British propaganda. My dad always tells me, if you wanna become famous, England is the best place for it. Har ki ye gooz too englis mide maroof mishe. Yeah he scores against Westham and Watford and Iran :P How about doing something when playing vs good teams like Arsenal or Chelsea? 1 goal against Chelsea is better than 100 goals against Westham.

HAHA being spoken as the best spanish team loses to the english team. Look Ronaldo is purely amazing. I hate him inside and out but he made emmanual eboue (so did Patrice Evra) look stupid in the recent arsenal game. He is class. Not to mention HE IS ONLY 21!!!!!!!!!!! Obviously Barca and Madrid are pulling out there checkbooks for a bloody reason. I mean what english player has done bad in Spain (Owen hit form at the end)?????

I'm down with Arsenal. I've always been a fan of the Gunners' beautiful free flowing football with those sexy short passes. Arsenal's always unlucky though, and it looks destined to be another trophyless season for them. They have a great young squad with probably the best youngsters on the planet (Wenger hang picks them himself, mostly from Africa ).

For me its down to either Man U, PSV or Roma. I like Bayern at times, too. Surprisingly I don't hate Liverpool as much as I hated Chelsea the last 3 seasons. They played a fair match and to be honest they were working better as a team than Barca in the second leg, but Chelsea...every time I remind myself of Mourinho's celebrations after Chelsea's goals I hate that team even more.

No but seriously i just dont understand when people say barca play football the way it should be then lower themselves with all this diving tactics.they didnt do much wrong in the second leg but at the Nou Camp it was embarressing.

About the game tbh Barca never looked like a team.where as liverpool where defending really well together.I still cant believe we didnt score in the first half but hey we are through.

I got in a verbal fite with my friend over this..
We played SHIT and deserve not to advance.. but now its not the time for whinning and crying we gotto get off our asses and win La Liga and Copa Del Rey...

Just want to say that I do support LFC, but that I really do hope Barca win La Liga or the Spanish cup thing (dunno the name - Spanish version of FA cup, I think). I support Barca in Spain but am hardcore Kop fan....

I think your goalie (again, sorry I dont know the name) definitely made a good performance - the number of times he kept Kop out.

Here's to hoping LFC win so that Barca went out to the Champions...

(And hoping that Eto'o and Ronaldinho pick up their form because they are truly amazing to watch and unstoppable, by anyone, when they are at their best... good luck to you guys in La Liga and the spanish cup)
