I can't believe I missed the game. Racing's unbeaten streak comes to an end at home and it's Messi who scores the 5000th Barca goal in La Liga. Barca holds on with 9 men in the end for a 2-1 victory. We have to be the champions.
Puyol injured, Marquez & Pique suspended...I think we'll see Sylvinho - Abidal - Caceras - Alves back four vs. Mallorca (because Sanchez sucks and I don't want to see him start).Previously known as "IraqiFootball"

what those stats dont show is that crystianas goals are crap. his last 3 goals were a penalty, and the 4-0 and 5-0 while the other team was pushing up desperate to score 1 goal. while messi wins 3 points by himself with every goal.Originally posted by IraqiFootball View Post2009/2009 current stats:

only 3 of them are starters. btw what does it matter? all that matters is the check mark beside messis name.Originally posted by Kaebi View Postthe following defenders are out for the cup semifinal:
puyol (injured)
millito (injured)
pique (red card)
marquez (red card)
Alves (two yellow cards)

never said he was. but always said you guys have an evident unhealthy savior-like reliance on him which undermines you as a team.Originally posted by Kaebi View Postyes, but the backup for the starters are injured too lol, but still i think we can beat malorca easily, after all they're last in the league
btw messi is part of barcelona too, he's not a "cheatcode" they use to win games. get over it

Real are playing boring football and still relying on Robben to create anything. Yesterday's first half against Numancia was horrid. No wonder you guys dropped to 5th place without Robben.

robben is our best player. but only that. he is no savior. plus, our attackers in all those games have been robben, higuain, and raul. who else do you want to create plays? yes we usually suck in first half but i dont care because i know once the 2nd half whistle is blown there will be a drastic change.Originally posted by IraqiFootball View PostReal are playing boring football and still relying on Robben to create anything. LOL he was on the bench? no wonder! wow man just wow. not since maradona in napoli has a team been so dependent on 1 player. only difference is that napoli had no name players while barca has arguably the best striker on earth at the moment, and a former best striker on earth, and the best midfielder on earth, and the best right back on earth, and one of the best centerbacks on earth. how pathetic! without messi for sure real madrid would win the league, even with the injuries.Originally posted by Payam_S View PostMessi was on the bench, Barca conceded a goal at like 55th min, Messi comes in and immediately scores and then the second.
Looks like Barca will be in trouble without him.
