Shoja did really well against Son in the first 20 minutes but then again 20 minutes is such a small fraction compared to the full 90 minutes of football... Plus we saw how gassed he was even if he was subbed out for an injury

Milad jan, no denying that Shoja is the better 1 v 1 defender, but I just don't see Shoja having enough technical ability to play in Skocic's team, which requires fullbacks to be very good on the ball and withstand lots of pressure and pressing... Shoja is not a good dribbler

Didn't we park the bus against south korea? I mean thats the message I got from the game.

Regarding shoja to be honest any game that we missed shoja or kanani our DF was a mess. I'm was not fan of shoja myself specially after all the BS he said about CQ but his games in ACL and WCQ is good enough to start in WC.

Wether shoja plays or not I know that we need physcial players (in LB and RB) and IMO we should use wrestling to train our players in next 2 camps.CQ used boxing but wrestling is more suitable for us since we are master of wrestling and have good coaches.

Cause he's weak in every aspect; tactics, demands, the list is long..

Coach has to use the bully pulpit to pressure the federation in Iran. That's what CQ did. It's not ideal, nor is it in their job description, but it's necessary to get things done. Skocic is too scared to do that. CQ's personality is he doesn't care and will call out anybody

Funny thing is that the Skocic haters just didn't watch Sardars interview. It's on point with common sense and mantegh be ghole khode Azmoun.
Azmoun clearly said: Kare federation herfeyh nist. Azmoun also said that half of the staff didn't even get paid. Imagine that! And still they put all their love and effort to help TM. How can you call yourself TM fan when there is evidence and words from source number 1 and still insist on sacking our coach just a couple of months before the world cup?! Do you understand that sacking Skocic will cause much more trouble? No rocket science here.
Stop overrating the coachs influence and power! Dig for the deeper rooted problems und you will dig up a rishoo ozgal who works for his own pocket ffs.

Well that's good to hear. That's why i wrote "if".

I agree with the rest of your post, although Skocic shouldn't be fired just because of a meaningless friendly vs Algeria.
He should be fired because of 18 games of miserable football.

So to the point. The usual lengesh kon wave is back. Being supportive is all we can do.

There is a big difference between these two:

    1. Wanting a coach to be replaced by a much better one to give your team a chance of doing well at the WC.

    2. Wanting your team to fail because of the coach.

It's not OK to cheer against your national team. I hope you reconsider your opinion.

But now is not the time to switch up. He's been the manager since 2020 and has done a decent job despite the resume. Sure he's got problems. But the bigger problem seem to derive from i.r. FF.

They need to help this team. If they provide our team with what they need, help set up necessary friendly matches but Skocic messes up, then I will be the first person on here to blame him. But now isn't the time to switch up. It's too risky.

Even by Ozone's jurisdiction, you are a vatanforoosh because being "Skocic-Out" and cheering opponents are NOT mutually exclusive in his vision.

If this was CQ or even Nekounam's team melli, I would 100% prefer Shoja at RB than Moharrami

However, Skocic's "tactics" requires us to play from the back and hold possession and build from the wingbacks, requiring them to have strong technique and dribbling ability.

Actually Shoja is/was faster than Montazari IMO... Montazari was much better on the ball though

Either way Shoja or Montazari back in his prime wouldn't fit in Skocic's system. It just wouldn't work... Neither are good enough on the ball
