TM's Jersey Awarded to Foreign Minister





TM 's jersey was jointly awarded to the Foreign Minister by the Sports Minister, the president of the National Olympic Committee and the head of the Football Federation.
The coordination meeting of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar was held today at the Foreign Ministry in the presence of Hossein Amirabdollahian.

I think you misunderstood agenda of Monday meeting
Monday meeting is only about Sko and not about selection of a new coach.
If they decide to end Sko's contract then they have to start a different procedure and meeting for that.

There have been no discussions with Carlos Queiroz at all. I want to be very clear that Queiroz has not been the subject of any negotiations.

According to V3:

D Skocic faith and the future of his employment as the head coach of Iran's national team, who has a contract with the team till the conclusion of the 2023 Asian Cup, will be discussed at the meeting, according to Bahram Rezaian (a director on the board of the federation ).


The technical committee is made up of Asghar Modir Rosta, Morteza Mohasses, Mirshad Majedi, Hamid Steely, Parviz Mazloumi, and Ebrahim Qasempour.


Note:

*-The technical committee merely serves as an advising body, and the board will make all decisions.
*-Technical committee of the federation of football- Their preferences based on their public pronouncements.
All TC members—aside from Ezatollahi—are opposed to CQ, and just four are in favor of the Iranian coach option.

* The technical committee, not the board of directors, will convene. The assertion made by others that the head coach of Iran's national team will be discussed at 10 am tomorrow is untrue. The board of directors members are not scheduled to hold a meeting; only the members of the technical committee are.

*-Skocic is arriving to be let go?
Do you think we will fire Mr. Skocic, who travels from Zagreb to Istanbul and from Istanbul to Iran?

*-Why spend money?
We part ways and let him go there.
At the upcoming technical committee meeting, Mr. Skocic could want to justify himself and his performance, but there is no justification for firing him.

*-Nobody at IFF has spoken with Queiroz.
Everyone on the board, including Majedi, who I spoke with, affirmed that CQ has not been contacted.
He won't be the TM coach.

Despite denials today from IFF board members, Gol Bezan firmly stands by the confirmation that direct talks were held with Carlos Queiroz.

As previously stated, 'no official offer' was made, thus no negotiations took place.

They cannot publicly acknowledge anything as that would be government meddling.

Plus, Skocic is still officially our manager.

What do you expect? They come out and say we are speaking with other coaches while still having contract with sko? When has that ever been done before by anybody?

Sorry but "official line" means nothing at the moment.

This is Iran. If there is ENOUGH will from above (president, his cabinet, SM, etc) to make a change, it will be done. There is historical precedent for it. You can bring up FIFA but they will do it in a way that is not obviously traceable.

In this case, it is hard to believe with much smoke no fire. CQ or not, Sko's days seem numbered.

After watching Majedi on Football 360, he had politician written ALL over him. He says he’s not quitting yet because he’s not sure if they’ll ever allow a footballi individual to run again for President.

I don’t know.. I smell a weasel. He may not be one but there’ve been a few. Seeing how childish and unprofessional they’ve acted as heads in our football federation, we can’t really take ones word over another.

Since Abedzadeh couldnt hold the ball and fumbled and dropped it vs Korea, he at the same time fumbled and dropped Skocics future at TM.

Shoulda stayed with Beira, he saved us last sec vs Korea in the first game.. great goalie but dropped for 2 windy misstakes in a tornado stadium since there was public pressure to play Amir, son of Oghab.

Beiranvand had little match practice. He needed to test his other keepers and create some competition. Beira sat the bench all season scratching himself. Hopefully he turns it around at PP.
