USA and Israeli ally. As soon as MBS got cozy with Kusher (who has a direct line to Netanyahoo, the PM at the time), Saudi Arabia was treated like a new democracy that just sprouted up out of the desert.Originally posted by Prowess View PostSaudi Arabia has 10x more backward policies, but they have no problem getting great friendlies. Outside Taliban Afghanistan and IR Iran - no one else has mandatory hijab. Saudi Arabia is even more progressive than Iran when it comes to this lol. Wasn't Islam born there?Originally posted by Omids View PostThat picture surely is not in SA, woman cant be hejab free in SA, no?

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

Good on them that they don’t do that. But I was referring to much, much more other things. Anyways, I always wondered why we hardly ever play Turkey as a good friendly prep?Originally posted by Leicester City View Post
Not anymore... Didn't see the Saudis pepper-spraying their women for trying to attend matches.

Pre-season club friendlies happen frequently with Turkish clubs, would interesting to know why that does not translate for national teams... Not only Turkey though, but neighboring or nearby countries like Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Greece, etc...Originally posted by Prowess View PostGood on them that they don’t do that. I want to move away from this topic, to be honest with you. I provided evidence, if you don't want to believe it, then that's on you. I won't be commenting on this subject anymore.Originally posted by somebuffguy View PostThere is no fucking way a woman without Hijab is allowed in KSA stadiums. What is this shit?
