    Sardar scores in Germany.
    Mehdi scores in Portugal.
    Allahyar scores in England.

    In the same weekend.

    Today was a good day!

This Azmoun kid is possessing some phenomenal qualities. Right now I believe Alonso is super content with his performances. If he keeps this up he will be their new star player. Guy does what regular forwards do in 70 minutes.

Also Alonso has done a phenomenal job of keeping the entire squad in form and have good rotational system. Difference between squad form during Seoane is like night and day.

Expertly taken. He sniffed out that chance from nothing, showed his great touch and experience to stay in front of jakic and take it around the GK.

That's a man in form, 1 chance 1 goal. Getting showered with praise by the commentators for his recent displays.

They play again this thursday, can see him starting there or at the weekend game after.

After last week scoring a classic Sardar header, he scores again with a different classic Sardar variant.

Uses his speed to get in behind, holds the defender off, dribbles the goalie (Sardar loves doing this), and slots it home.

4 goals in his last 5 BL games. Many of them as a substitute.

With the win, Bayer leapfrog Frankfurt to 6th place and are 4 points from automatic UCL qualification.

I was critical of Xabi initially (because he didn't play Sardar), but no doubt they've turned it around and have been in great form. They're serious contenders in the Europa League.

The problem for sardar is that adli is playing superbly right now. Tough to bench him, Diaby or wirtz right now.

with the fixture congestion they have coming up I don't see it being a problem. Before it was sardar starting and Adli coming off the bench for a few games, now the opposite. Think it also depends on the opposition. Diaby and Wirtz places seem secure, but Wirtz minutes are also being managed post ACL injury.

Xabi Alonso is a great tactician and coach, I see a bright future ahead for him. Sardar is playing awesome and has scored joker goals whenever he came on 😍 i hope he starts on thursday
