Don't worry guys, this is Azmoun we are talking about. He is a natural goal scorer, give him a few games, he will pick up on the German style of play very soon. We will look back and laugh that we had any doubts.

I think the one nice thing about this signing is he didnt come with a giant price tag. This was purely a win for Leverkusen in signing him with minimal investment. Also lowers fan expectations despite the hype he came in with.

I read somewhere he is their highest paid player though..

with Patrick Schick currently injured, and Leverkusen playing in multiple tournaments, it was the best chance for Sardar to get some good play time and prove himself. Unfortunately with Wirtz injured, a lot of their potency has disappeared and credit to Atlanta, they are a very compact and tough team to play against. Anyways, it is wat it is, Sardar needs to take this opportunity in the absence of Schick to prove himself.
