It just shows you even the best players can miss good chances (for anyone that hated on Sardar for his misses last game); it's part of the game. Diaby is undoubtedly one of the best players for Leverkusen generally, but had some big misses today. You have to have short memory as a striker and move on (can't have it hang over you, even if fans over-react).Comment

Those who are calling Diaby terrible need to realize the man was all over the pitch today and was constantly sprinting around making great runs and being there for those chances. His finishing was off but the guy is a major talent if not the best talent on that Leverkusen team. Just as you want to write off Sardar's misses last game as an anomaly the same standard should be applies to this player.Comment

Sardar played well. Very active and a couple of great almost assists. He is coming along. Alario is not good. Diaby should have scored two. Heartbreak for Leverkusen. Now time for Sardar to start scoring in Bundesliga.
