He has been a solid defender for Mes Raf but unfortunately, he did not make it to final list of U23 because there are several good CB to choose from.
I think both Nasiri & Iman Akbari should be tested as a full back.

IFF yet to sign any contract with Mahdavi Kia and or with his foreign assistant s.
For whatever reasons (financial, political, terms of contract) IFF has delayed this important step.
IF IFF is unable to reach an agreement they should appoint Iranian coach. 108 days with only 10 FIFA days in March is hardly enough to build strong team facing Korea, Japan, Uzbekistan(h), Sausi Arabia, Iraq, Australia..... Seeding is important for Olympic qualification.
In the past IFF had refused to pay fair market value salary to youth Coaches that made the job unattractive for good coaches.
IF IFF is ready to pay high salary for Mahdavi Kia and foreign assistant, should be willing to pay the same to good and experienced Iranian coach.
Rabiei is one good candidate:
IFF should appoint Rabiei MesRaf coach for U23.
