I can only imagine if he goes to Roma how badly this forum will start bashing Mourinho! I can hear the racist remarks already against him not playing Azmoun. He’s pretty shrewd as well, that’s gonna be tough. If you haven’t seen the All or Nothing on Tottenham on Netflix, it’s worth a watch.

If there is a player Iraqi's are scared of and know can easy take their team, it's Sardar Azmoun

Actually, back in June, Iraqi's made a video showing the disrespect of Bahraini's and the Bahraini federation when they booed the Iranian national anthem and show's how Sardar responded (with his two goals). The comments even said that Bahrain should be punished and that arabs are hospitable people and that the Bahraini NT did not represent arabs well.

Iraqi's really love Sardar for some reason

Thank you so much for this great video! Never knew about it. Many Iraqis are actually pro Iran and were as happy as Iranians to see Saddam gone.

Bookmarked as pre-game watch for the next bahrain encounter!

LMAO. This one is the best. Sardar and Safaa Hadi somehow communicate with each other in broken English.

Champions League team guide: Zenit Saint Petersburg in the spotlight

                One to watch: Sardar Azmoun

Nicknamed the Iranian Messi, Azmoun has made Russia his home since leaving Sepahan in 2013.

The 26-year-old had two spells with Rubin Kazan — scoring 17 times in 77 appearances — but it is at Zenit where his goalscoring has really taken off.

He began by notching 12 times in just 16 appearances after joining halfway through the 2018-19 campaign, before scoring 21 goals the following season and adding a further 19 last term.

At 6ft 1in, Azmoun is strong in the air but deceptively quick, with impressive acceleration and dribbling ability.

The second-most expensive Iranian player ever — behind Brighton’s Alireza Jahanbakhsh — he has scored more goals in the Champions League (four) than any of his countrymen.

I think it was a good assist, but I can count on one hand the number of players that can control such a lob assist and score like Taremi did.

Obviously the goal was also spectacular. Some luck is needed when trying to control those balls in those type of situations (you can see that the ball touch his knee or other part of his body after the first touch) but still an amazing job getting it in control and finishing it in that fashion.

I think Ronaldinho is the only player in the world who could control that ball in such a fashion without any luck.

                        Ronnie and AK8

yeah he didnt have to stop his run and instead handled the ball while running forward, didnt loose speed and instead used the speed he had in advantage against the forwards. if he had to stop it would be much harder to score.

Malcolm and Claudinho were banned for 2 matches for going to Brazil(Red zone country) for their national team call up, so they miss the first CL match

Apparently there is a chance they reach some agreement regarding malcom and claudinho.

The ban was actually not from English authorities but rather from FIFA. In anticipation of violating british law they prevented malcom and claudinho from going to international camp. Brazil complained to fifa I guess and now they took action. There is still a chance zenit get fifa to back off the 2 match ban.

More crucially for zenit it seems barrios who travelled to colombia for international duty won’t be able to play for aure. Pretty absurd situation, clubs play millions for these players and then can’t use them in the biggest game of the year Bc 10 days before they played for their international team? Consider these players are being tested every couple days
