He played solid but his team was a little eh

not a stretch to say he was their best player tonight.

At least offered a threat when he came on, smart passing choices as usual and opened up space very well down that side. Showed good speed to win FK in dangerous position and then showed more good speed and physicality to deal with dangerous lamptey on defensive end.

The guy is a very undervalued player in TM and Brentford. Pretty consistent solid performances

On a related note, Jensen, Baptiste, onyeka are atrocious...the last 2 were quite literally passing the ball away with every other touch in the second half, not even looking up to see who they were passing to...super bizarre.

If this onyeka was midjyllands best player there is no doubt in my mind saeid could do a great job for them

And this was such a great opportunity for brentford.
Brighton suck and havent won in 3 (!) months.

Brentford started with same negative clueless mentality and resulted in basically no chances until around time of samans introduction (at least allowed them one mentally functioning midfielder)

saman needs to get out. all signs point to brentford declining fast.

every play he made today was smart but his teammmates withheld from him even when he was free on left side. they rather keep passing it back or to a jammed central midfield.

It's not coincidence that every Brentford player looked like crap today, utterly suffocated by Potterball's relentless and smart pressing. Ghoddos at LWB is eye-bleeding but at least it may give Daneshmand a way of fitting him into TM XI.

he was much better tonight coming off the bench than the chelsea game ...!!
did a good job staying wide and forcing the BHA defenders to open up but his teammates were either blind to his open presence or passed the ball late when covered..!!

still had few too many safe back passes for my liking than to look to take on that goozoo kootooleh marking him and make something happen nor to take more serious searing runs into the box to get involved more in attack..!! his game approach woulda been fine for a tie scoreline but still lacking confidence and enough attacking intent for my liking..!!but then again it was understandable as his teammate werent looking to him enough to spark their attack and kept insisting on forcing the ball down middle and right side of the pitch..!!

overall, i think he bought himself little more game time for next match... but not enough to be a starter..??

Saman was great. Half the time he had the ball, he was motioning his teammates to get into position for the pass (it’s like he was playing with a bunch of amateurs).

Frank is the epitome of repeating the same thing and expecting a different result.

Potter probably bought himself another 5 year contract at BHA with that win.
