    It's 2-2 now. A quick turn of events!

    Sporting has scored two goals in 3 minutes. There was nothing that Amir could do on the second goal and the first goal, was just a great pass that was tapped in.

        Amir with a great critical save in 92nd minute. Got low with his hands to stop it.

        Match finished! Ponferradina win 3-2.

        Important win.

              Those previous two games he was at fault for goals , end of the game before you actually saw him talking with his manager and apologising. Today he isn’t at fault for either goal and won them the 3 points with a good injury time save.

              He is playing with a defence that isn’t full of quality and on many occasions has saved their skin this season, hence why a team like Sevilla was looking to buy him in Winter transfer window. He is our best goalkeeper.

                Ponferradina are pure crap defensively.. Their skill set comes from their attacking prowess and great goalkeeping thanks to Amir

                In 23 games this year, Amir has had 8 clean sheets. He's also had probably 15-16 really good games, 5-6 average games, and maybe just 1-2 bad matches.

                  The guy saved them 3 pts today...not sure how discussion can be made that conceding the 2 he did today is an extension of the bad game he had last week lol.

                  Great that he didnt lose his momentum and shows how confident and assured he is that he quickly forgot about his bad performance last week.

                  They are opening a solid gap between them and closest chaser for promotion playoff spots (something many thought they would be unable to do as season progressed). Now the distance between Ponfe in 5th and Oviedo in 7th is 6 pts.

                        ^ Wow! They could have lost 8-3 instead of winning 3-2 if it wasn't for Amir's saves. Ponferradina's defense needs a lot of work.

                            Iran-19 is not anti-Iran. As Chuk Daily put it, he is an experienced optimist . Almost all Iranians have a streak of pessimism and high expectations in them, especially when it comes to those who they care about. We would not be Iranians without such a trait!!
