But you’re right silly question from me….we’re not gonna find out until we just get the first glimpse of legionnaires posting a pic on a plane or who shows up at the camp
I saw it on some of the Iranian sites that their club had announced it.

This is significant and IRIB better get its act together and start paying up or we won't be able to host for a while. The fact that there are no fans in the stadium at this point is temporary in the grand scheme of things since COVID-19 will eventually be under control. Also, one could argue that having the camp in Iran is more advantageous since the PGL players don't have to travel outside the country and all the facilities of national football center are very close to Azadi, so there are advantages in hosting even now. Part of mismanagement is to say "oh, there are no fans so who cares" and not realize the long term (and even short term) implications.

        Go TM!
These IRIB bosses know they're in the wrong. They're just damn stubborn. They also don't give a damn about football on its own - they just love the advertisement money. So for TM to play in any country doesn't matter to them - they're going to make money either way.

Regardless IRIB has been saying they will pay TV rights for years - yet they don't. IRIB is one of the most stubborn and rigid organs in all of IR. They won't move unless someone very high up tells them to. IFF doesn't have the power at all.

Should not take them lightly but now this means the game will likely be us dictating attacks with the Syrians trying to counter ultimately unsuccessfully. 2-0 Team Melli.

70-80% of $$$$ in football is in the TV advertisings and rights..!!
off course these bastards will say or promise anything but would likely never pay any money towards broadcasting rights, cause that could open the pandora's box as far as theyre concerned and dread the idea of setting the legal precedent for PGL clubs to pursue next and suddenly the whole club privatization argument also will get some legitimacy and everything in their $candalous organizational structure could collapse with a smallest crack..!!

and rest assured the IR cronies at top levels are very much involved in all Key decisions of IRIB ..! they just have some goozoo clown repping for them as the head honcho of IRIB just for the day to day inconsequential decisions..!

            ps
the other day watching a clip on varzesh link someone posted here, preceded by a iranian commercial for some bs product and they had actual images and video of Ronaldo CR7 pitching for it..!! LOOL i was like wtf...? you know how much that would cost the company to get his Formal/Official permission and participation for..??

^ I THINK that guy is a double of CR7 or they are using CGI. CR7 could still sue them in either case. Since the Shampoo brand is probably limited to Iran, it will just pile on the complex web of sanctions and lawsuits against Iran.

              Go TM!

                  there you have it..!!
this is just a small sampling of how Mulahs beelaakh back at the western powers for their attempts at international isolation of the regime and their branding them as a rogue State..!! so they start acting as such and take full advantage of all the benefits that entails to being a pariah state when it comes to adhering to the norms of international business/trade laws ..!

hah, and later, an unemployed lawyer in Portugal sues the rogue state for $20 million for copyright infringement and since no one from rogue state shows up in court, he easily wins his case and puts a lien against any FIFA reward Iran was entitled to due to their 2022 world cup appearance... And me and you end up right here crying about the state of Iranian football!!!

yeup, its a vicious cycle that..!!
but by enlarge you can win all the lawsuits in the world but whats the use if you can actually only collect on possibly Fractions of that through such ☝️ complicated and legally lengthy and expensive process (besides, never heard or seen an "unemployed lawyer" still hustling and doing the paperwork for such a complicated litigation for free..!!? )
and then the big issue remains that like i said before that was just a very small sampling of IRIB's egregious breaking of international business laws.... i mean here we are having to subscribe to many expensive exclusive providers of CL/European top football broadcasters and these folks in iran can just turn on their free tele and watch them all easily and for free..!!

mullahs sure may well get stung once in a while by indirect means and by complicated and expensive legal procedures for a few measly mils of $$ here n there.... but still come out ahead by a country mile in the big $cheme of things ..!!

CR7 hich ghalati nemitooneh bekoneh! Can Subway sue Iran for the very successful FreshWay? Can BurgerKing sue Iran for BurgerQueen, Shake shack for Sheak Shack, or Pizza Hut for Pizza Hat?

                        We are immune!

Still we do not know where Iran will play. At this point, seems more of sabotage of AFC than anything else. They do like "keep the Iranians waiting, sabotage their World Cup Qualification". Let´s not forget, they are even much more anti-Iran than FIFA or IOC.
Sign against banning Iran from WorldCup!!!
