According to Corriere dello Sport, Napoli owner Aurelio De Laurentiis approved for his management to start pursuing Iranian international striker Sardar Azmoun (25). Playing for Zenit Saint Petersbourg since February 2019, former Rubin Kazan hitman, whose market worth stands around 18 million euros, is currently on a deal with Russian club until June 2022.

Top 10 clubs in the world are : Real, Barca, Bayern, Liverpool, Man city, Atletico Madrid(?), Dortmund, Juventus,PSG. Something like that anyways. In the tier right below that is Napoli. You have to be honest and say the chance of azmoun getting an offer from any of those teams is little to none, especially if he doesnt leave RPL now. they will make many mor signings than just azmoun. Hard to say what the team will look like besides : Insigne, Demme, Manolas, De Lorenzo, and the outstanding Zielinski who is signing new contract and one of the up and coming Box to Box cms in the world. Also I doubt they will sell both koulibaly and fabian ruiz in same window. He (Azmoun) is interesting as a player. The scouting of Napoli works with the world map in front with statistics and numbers in hand. The profile is interesting and both Giuntoli and Gattuso like it.
At this point it seems that Napolis primary targets are Azmoun for CF, Jeremie Boga the young winger of Sassuolo (unless chelsea get him first), and tsimikas the promising LB of olympiakos (inter, leicester are also after him)
It is also mentioned that if somebody meets the set price for Koulibaly (80-90 MIL EU) then they would replace him with jan verthongen of spurs. Fabian Ruiz is expected to stay unless crazy bid comes in.Comment

Just skimming through the 2016/2017 Sardar Azmoun @ Rostov thread and 2017/2018 @ Rubin Kazan one, it's shocking how people where making up false conspiracies about Berdyev and the defamation of character to the point litigation would be possible. Just look, why would Berdyev even be in attendance at the Zenit match back in September with Azmoun family to watch Azmoun play if he did not care about his progression?Comment
