he just had the past 10 days off resting. He is fully fit, the injury was such that he could have even returned earlier, but the gave him a fairly long break so he would be fully fit for lokomotiv, benfica matches.Originally posted by Ghermez Agha View PostHope Semak isn’t rushing him back....

yea Zenit MF is struggling mightily for possession and anything resembling a offensive service for quiet a while now..!!Originally posted by Nokhodi View PostAnother bad game. They have no midfield. Nothing is reaching Dzubya or Azmoun.
i think it almost requires a change of tactics to alleviate that issue..!!?
occasionally during the games, they should go with 1 forward and yank sardar back to MF and let his very under-rated combination play and playmaking come to light..!

thankfully 0-0 despite loko domination.
Semak needs to change tactics a bit to get azmoun and dzyuba more involved. Its not necessarily crucial that they win midfield battle. In these big russian games the result usually comes down to efficiency in the boxes which zenit typically are able to do.
I would agree with bachelot, either azmoun or dzyuba needs to drop deeper and combine. Driussi is trying to be the link right now but he is getting hit every time he turns or tries to speed up play, loko players fouling hard.
Shatov has been showing good form recently and maybe he can be the wildcard to open something up for zenit in malcoms absence. He can dribble and free up space for others.
