just finished watching the replay of the match on youtube....
barring the tokhmy PK attempt and his subbing bizzare meltdown ....!? i thought overall he looked very lively and energetic and played hard and seemed to be really motivated to get a goal in that game..!
played a big part in winning both of those PKs for Zenit...!! first one was his header in box that was handled and 2nd it was his solid hold up play in MF and nice switch to the wing that caught the arsenal defense out and caused the pk..!
he came really close to getting on scoresheet today on few occasions especially in the first half and became flustered as a result ?? he clearly didnt know the new Substitution rule.... so he got mad at the ref for forcing him to take a short cut outa pitch and got in his face and luckily was rescued and escorted out by Dzuba and saved from red card suspension and a far more embarrassing exit ..!
this gentle giant Dzuba is such a lovely and likable character..!
ps
lets hope he has more left in the tank to give this midweek CL clash..!!? im fairly sure he'd feature..!

Nice article, he needs to score tomorrow. Lots of pressure on him and his coach. Doubt he continue to use him as starter if he fail scoring again and again.Originally posted by PSGman#19 View Post

His all round game really benefits the team though, the coach can see that and won’t drop him. Most the Zenit goals I’ve seen Sardar has played some part in them.Originally posted by Iran_19 View PostNice article, he needs to score tomorrow. Lots of pressure on him and his coach. highly doubtful . Sardar adds a lot to the team besides goals, as evidenced by his two game winning assists for dzyuba in crucial matchweeks where he didnt score vs dynamo moscow and krasnodar, big matches. His dangerous runs give the team depth and a real threat in behind to relieve pressure and keep defenders honest, opening up more space for zenits relatively weak midfield that has trouble handing the high press to begin with. The threat that they cn play a long ball through to sardar who has the speed to beat the defenders gives them more room to operate in. also frees up space for driussi to find openings around the box.Originally posted by Iran_19 View PostNice article, he needs to score tomorrow. There is much more to his game than goals.
