I don't like talking about the final before the Japan game for obvious reasons.

But in general, the only way to combat time-wasting/grass-rolling is to be ahead by at least one goal.

With VAR and FIFA watching, it will be very difficult for them to influence the match if they are losing (not that FIFA itself is fair but still). I'm pretty sure Infantino and a FIFA delegation will be in attendance during the final. Also, don't give away silly fouls in or around the box and don't leave anything to chance.

If Iran does make the final and faces UAE, a professional and disciplined performance like the China game will leave no room for AFC/VAR/refs to influence the outcome of the game.

Wrong. Nakajima started all friendlies after the WC. According to a Japan fan on Reddit, their attack has been toothless because they have missed Nakajima and Osako. Shoji started all four WC games for Japan.

This is japans future A team (with addition of one player) . They are preparing for copa america 2019. Its seems they don't care about this one as much as copa america. well at least that what i sense.

Korea on other hand had their A team with late addition of son.

PRAY UAE loses to Qatar as if they beat QATAR, UAE FA with AFC will ensure they beat IRAN!! No way will they allow an Iran to lift the trophy on Arab soil hostile to IRan!!
