IRIB is an entity in Iran. Suing an Iranian company is nearly impossible. Copyright laws in Iran don't apply for external companies.

So IRIB can do what they want. ParsTV though is based in California and can be easily be sued and taken to court.

Then why screw Iranian viewers around the world by blocking a better quality broadcast with
a totally pre-transistor quality of the so called ParsTV broadcast!?!?!? That does not make sense.

I don't think PFDC and it's moderators should support Pars TV and Mansoor unless they answer about this situation. If illegally violating copyright laws and providing crap quality is how these Iranian companies do it, why is PFDC supporting them?

Guys I just emailed Glwiz, I suggest you all do contact them. They allow all other asian cup games. I dont believe that Pars tv has any rights. They are just stealing from Fox, the quality is horrible on Pars.

On a very serious note (as someone said about "pre-transistor days"), the "official" Pars TV stream was worst than highlights from the 1970s.

If you want to have credibility and own exclusive rights, you should at least do it right...

play by play commentary was sorta wack ...! tactical commentary was good...! overall certainly beats listening to that obnoxious ozgal Khiabani on irib
pic quality was horrible... oddly before the game programing pic quality seemed good enough .. sorta typical satellite pic quality ..!
i suppose i cant complain much considering it was free..!!
having peace of mind of knowing you will not get blacked out completely or loose feed in middle of the game.... Priceless..!
ps
i had an HD feed with english commentary on my computer but the action was about 2-3 minutes behind that of Pars Tv on sattelite, otherwise i certainly woulda switched to exclusively to watching that..!
