Pundits are right to call this a Mickey Mouse tournament. When countries need to resort to grassrolling for the final 1/3 of the match to ensure their 1 goal lead, then it's a Mickey Mouse mentality. Not to say that Australia has been impressive in any way but the moment some of these teams start to grassroll, you lose any incentive to root for them.

I agree and feel sympathy for CQ and TM due to thisOriginally posted by The Realist View PostThis and yesterday’s Game against the host are already good indicators that CQ cautionary approach is right. There are no easy games and instead of assuming ourselves in the semis and then final it’s one game at the time. That’s tournement approach.

Yes he is absolutely right about that. But one could expect that playing against Jordan is very difficult.Originally posted by The Realist View PostThis and yesterday’s Game against the host are already good indicators that CQ cautionary approach is right. As far as i remember we always struggle against them and the aussies also lost/draw them plenty of times.
Yesterdays game was not like a huge shock, i mean it is not like Korea defeating Germany, Uae were favorites but not
that better on paper than Bahrain.
