Belgium still has a small team mentality despite having a bunch of great players.
Wrong and wrong. I'm from Belgium and I can tell you there's no way Belgium has a more talented squad. Look at Brazil's bench and look at Belgium's bench. Except mertens who was out for tactical reasons, the best guy we have on the bench is hazard's brother thorgan who plays for gladbach or batshuayi but he barely made it from a bad injury before the world cup... On the other hand Brazil can bring on players like Douglas Costa, Firminho. We played with chadli who played less than 10 games with WBA this season, kompany is getting injured every time he gets on the pitch.

Guys here are judging Belgium from this game and think that they play defensively, Belgium had the most goals scored in the qualifications in Europe equaling an old record from Germany and they're so far the team which has scored the most goals in this world cup.

Every game is different, Belgium has big issues in the wing back positions, you can't afford to leave that much space to Neymar or Marcelo and willian on the other side. Martinez had to change his tactics and play a more defensive game, you play games to win not to satisfy every football fans and he literally gave a coaching lesson to Tite. Everybody knows how dangerous Belgium is on counters.

Martinez has a group of players between 30-33, similar to Japan, whereas the spine of Queiroz's team will reach that age in 8 years time.

As an Iran fan, I would be cautiously optimistic, assuming we keep the same coach.
Well the best players are 26 de bruyne 26 hazard and 25 lukaku. Even Alderweireld is only 29. Oww and Meunier 26 lol.
So no, they are about 28 by average.

aside from the not so clever comparison and kudos, the KEY to such game plans in TOURNAMENTS (leagues are different beast altogether) is to have extremely clinical and accurate strikers, who create chances out of nothing, and dont waste many chances to score.

we MUST work on this, if we want to stay with the current philosophy at TM
or bring in at least 1 if not 2 more "more accurate" strikers.
from where? I have n idea. but clubs need to get with the program

I am glad Brazil is out, but they missed on many easy chances and that's the reason they are out, not Belgian defense. but the two Belgian players with the afro were really great yesterday.

The issue is not how many "chances" brazil had but the tactic used by Belgium, based on playing Hazard, De Bruyn and Lukaku permanently ready for fast counter attacks and Brazil got totally destroyed by the combination of power, speed and technique of these 3 players, having to foul almost on each counters in order to survive.

Whoever didn't see that actually Belgium played a tactical mastermind game and had the players to do so don't know anything about football. Belgium clearly deserved their victory ... Brazil was actually the strongest team of this tournament. Belgium is now the favorite to win this world cup as they just have more skills than France, relying heavily on the speed of their players only. Belgium have speed, technique and last but not least, power to give France really hard time.

Motahari Called him African Giant ! !!

The vice chairman of the parliament Motahari.
