Very interesting interview with Schäfer yesterday in german televison about his life in Iran! At the end he said that when he came to Esteghlal they only had 3 players in National Team and now they have 7. He said unfortunately, Carlos let 2 of them at home but he will probably re-nominate them.

That list has Abdollahzadeh and Rafei in it, so it's not correct. Let's just wait till the official list is announced by IFF once their sites are online again.

Idk what this video was attempting to show. I could probably make a similar compilation from many players. Many instances were not even bad. Ghafouri was never perfect, but we tended to have a stronger right flank when him and Jahanbakhsh play compared to Jahanbakhsh and Rezaeian.

even the video is proof that he is always involved and in thick of the defensive action on our right side..! may be he aint the best tackler but no winger was able to just waltz behind running into our box ..... even in that video, almost always he keeps his markers preoccupied enough for the next layer of defensive protection to neutralize their threat...! which is pretty much what Amiri does on the left as a winger ...... on the plus side, he aint Mostly a Stay home WB as in MilMo..! he gets involve in our attacks almost equally as well as Ramin yet has the better physique and pesky defensive traits and the motor to keep us secure on the right side on the breaks..!

i feel like if anyone would get promoted back from the stand-by list, he would be the most likely candidate..!!?
