True but Argentina is a little bit different compared to Spain. Parking the bus effectively works well against Argentina. Unfortunately Spain's playing style is to break up hyper defensive teams. That's actually their expertise!Originally posted by FF187 View Postwe said the same 4 years ago against Argentina...

This parking the bus comment again. How did we park the bus if we had more scoring chances during the entire game, specially 2nd half of the game?Originally posted by Sly View PostTrue but Argentina is a little bit different compared to Spain. That was not parking the bus but clever game strategy!CHECK OUT OUR FORUM RULES HERE: http://www.persianfootball.com/forums/faq.php

We parked the bus and relied on counter attacks. Yes, a very clever and effective strategy which worked well against Argentina. I don't deny that.Originally posted by Adesor Vafaseya View PostThis parking the bus comment again. The strategy was parking the bus and starting counter attacks. It worked and against Portugal we should do the same, but Spain is different.Originally posted by Adesor Vafaseya View PostThis parking the bus comment again. In my eyes we should give our best and thats it. We should not concede too many goals. Defending like theres no tomorrow and attack and try to score

CQ has stated that he is not taking Ghafouri because he has played the last few games in club level as right wing. What kind of logic is that? Does that mean he has now forgotten how to play as a right back? It is not like he is a computer chip that has been programmed for a specific task! So I guess Philip Lahm forgot how to play right back after playing DM the last world cup.
And about Jalal, people can only remember one bad game in his 11 years of TM career. And that is a game frankly the whole team was poor. Yet it is not like other invitees are rock solids. Only last month everyone's beloved Pouraliganji had two very costly mistakes for his club in the space of only one week. An own goal and a silly penalty given away in the last minute of Qatar cup final. PFDC members have had a big obsession with age as far as I can remember.

It should have been something else.
CQ used many players in past who played in one position at their clubs and another one in TM.

CQ just said that as an excuse, not to create too much hashiyeh around TM at this crucial time. I expect a better explanation after the WC.Originally posted by Iran_19 View PostI don't buy this, sorry.

In 78 we were among the final 16 teams of the World Cup. We have yet to duplicate that feat.Originally posted by OFFSIDE_1 View Post78 ? We were destroyed by Holland 3-0 and Peru 4-1, and barely tied a scotland team who walked on the pitch with half the players recovering from having a hangover from the night before.I went to Sharif University. ^ plus Scotland were doping and had one of its best team ever if not there best.
Netherlands team I'd the team that all Dutch teams and performances are still measured against.
We have 2 penalties away to Netherlands due to lack of our familiarity of the international football rules. Those penalties would have not been given that easily in an Asian game...

CQ has given his reasons for his ommissions....... And I must say it is the most absurd rubbish I have read. I wouldn't expect this from a high school coach, let alone from an int'l coach!!!
سرمربی تیم ملی دقایقی قبل از ترک ایران به سوی ترکیه در گفتگویی به رمزگشایی از حذف غیرمنتظره ستاره های سرخابی از فهرست نهایی تیم ملی پرداخت.
If Ghafouri. IS indeed a good RB and you've seen him perform, then no matter if his club coach uses him elsewhere for a few games, the fact remains that GHAFOURI IS STILL A TOP RB PERFORMER.
You don't need a PhD to see the sense in this. A child of 12 can see it.
Just say I didn't like him or .... . but don't offend our intelligence.

I think you may have missed something else he said in addition.
He said i told him not to play other position( words to that affect ).
You don't cross him.

... And as a professional coach he expected a player to tell his club coach "No. I refuse to listen to you and will choose whatever I want to do"????Originally posted by St_Mark View PostI think you may have missed something else he said in addition.

Does that mean CQ was expecting this?
Will he, CQ stand for a second, if any player says this to him?
Bro, you know it is a garbage explanation with no sense whatsoever. There must be something else. Probably something petty, given his history.
But for him to again, insult & offend our intelligence with such drivel???
We support him. But that doesn't mean we stop exercising our own minds, or become his mindless slaves
