They prefer 4-2-31 but for last 3 games their starting formation was diffferent

One of weird thing about last game was assignments of 3 DMs.
3DM + 4 D + GK played as separate team. they pass the ball between themselves, horizontal and backward. Most of the passes by DM players were backward to Defenders or GK. Khodabandelu who touched the ball more than any other Iranian in the field passed backward more than forwards!. As from all 5 types of pass they only know backward pass, as there was an invisible line they did not want to cross. They kept silly passes until they were forced to kick the ball away toward offense line.

I understand your comments, what I was trying to point out ( i did not do it right) was that weird backward, sideways passing was the game plan dictated by Esteeli /Kranjcar to lose the game.

That is how he explains tactics to drop to the 2nd place in Group F of course he called it "ehtiat".and gave example of British intentionally losing the game.

The only way he could have dropped to the second place was to lose and even that was not sufficient. How else would he have expected 2nd place?


The strategy of the 2nd half was to lose and DM players were center of the scheme. bring the game close to own box.

Every chance he gets he rants about how good S Korea is, their star players, older age.... to justify his cowardice mentality. He should shut up about Korean and only boost Iranian players.

It's just a football game, Iran U23, in my opinion, has the chance to beat S Korea, should Coach let them play. Last Week Malaysia beat them, we can too.

Estili should shut it and keep quiet. Every time he opens his mouth, trying to justify their action, he worsens the already bad situation.

This team plays one terrible football. I mean I can live with unattractive football as long as at least we get results, but we're failing on both counts. Extremely disappointed in Krancar. Unless he pulls his magic wand and turns things around for the rest of this tournament, I would definitely wants him sacked from U-23 coaching position.

Not at all, i am not saying we will beat them or not, but there is no stability in this level of age regarding to performance. First, Korea of 4 years a go is totally different team compare to Korea of 2018. Same as Iran, second, we see many traditionally big teams in Asia lose to much smaller teams in this group of age, mainly because of lack of experience and inconsistency.

Ok we all agree Iran is looking bad so far, but so does S. Korea thus far. They lost to Malaysia

thats really what it looks like. Its just too new of a team to succeed. I hope they prove us wrong though and pull something out of the bag. Iranians always impress when the expectations are least and it looks like everything is collapsing. I predict it will be a close game, but they will fall just short.

Maybe so, but these boys are the last people that should be blamed. The usual cast of characters in charge take the blame. these boys deserve our support, they are young kids and want nothing more than to bring joy to their country.

Asadi , U23 Forward/MF was kicked out of the team for disciplinary reasons.

He is one of two players from Persepolis, and frankly, U23 can do without them.

Asadi is a useless player and I said that during a game versus Iraq. The whole selection of players by Esteeli/Kranjcar was a disaster.

بازیکن تیم فوتبال امید به دلیل یک مساله انضباطی از اردوی تیم امید اخراج شد.

به گزارش "ورزش سه"، از شروع مسابقات فوتبال در بازی های آسیایی محمدامین اسدی یکی از بازیکنان حاضر در تیم بارها از سوی حمید استیلی مدیر تیم و کرانچار سرمربی تیم به دلیل برخی رفتارها و به خاطر مسایل انضباطی تذکر گرفته بود.
قبل از دیدار با کره شمالی و میانمار نیز بارها مسولان تیم به همراه اعضا کادر فنی به این بازیکن به صورت خصوصی تذکر دادند؛ اما مسایل نه تنها برطرف نشد بلکه حواشی این بازیکن تشدید هم شد.
شب گذشته هم یک استوری از سوی اسدی در صفحه شخصی اینستاگرامش با جملاتی عجیب در حدود ساعت 3 بامداد منتشر شد که بازتاب های زیادی داشت.
از این رو کرانچار و استیلی امروز به این نتیجه رسیدند برای تداوم نظم تیمی در میان کاروان امید این بازیکن را از اردوی اخراج کنند.
طبق تصمیم اتخاذ شده اسدی با اولین پرواز باید به تهران برگردد.
حمید استیلی، مدیر تیم فوتبال امید این خبر را در گفت و گو با خبرنگاران اعزامی به جاکارتا اعلام کرد.
