Of course, a guy that support an already rich club can proudly give lesson of clean money, human rights and so. If the same guy had ended supporting a "Man City-like" club, his speech would be the opposite.

Lol wut? What exactly makes them hypocrites? Please explain.Originally posted by PSGman#19 View PostWould these hypocrites say the same thing if this money were sent to them to help them buy CR7, Messi or Neymar?
Our club has never needed a sugar daddy and we’re rich enough (self made) to be able to break the transfer record when we wish.

"No doubt funded by human rights abuses. No too happy about this is for it's true."

"We should have said no. He's not good enough to play for Manchester United - why did we agree to let him train with us? The money? We're the richest club in the world...
My guess is, it's for more exposure in Saudi Arabia."

It's not even that, the general public are much more aware and more liberal. We might be governed by a far right conservative government but that's due to the over 60's vote. The general public here are much more woke.Originally posted by TazThe political awareness of premiership fans regarding Arabs and their tainted money is increasing thanks to Man City's success.
Here's a fantastic article covering the topic for anyone interested:
Give it a few more years of the likes of Man City and PSG making headlines and there will eventually be a revolt from fans. I know Bayern Ultra groups have already started protesting against their club supporting such regimes.

Ironically enough, Man City can win the league against Man United next week. Perspolis can too on the same day. Coincidence? I think not.

Rental failure in La Liga: where are the Saudi World Cup goers?
La Liga and the Saudi Football Association proudly announced a new chapter of their collaboration at the end of January. Nine players were sent to Spain, three to the highest level. The balance of the trio after two months: zero goals, zero assists, zero matches, zero minutes
. How the World Cup goers in Spain have completely disappeared into anonymity.
Shirts from Rayo Vallecano, Leganés, Levante, Numancia, Sporting Gijón, Real Valladolid and Villarreal were proudly presented by the nine chosen ones on 21 January at the presentation in capital Riyadh. They were rolled out of the - according to La Liga rigorous - scouting program and were allowed to show their talent in the promised football country. Most of the attention went to the three internationals: Salem Al-Dawsari (Villarreal), Fahad Al-Muwallad (Levante) and Yahya Al-Shehri (Leganés). High-level learning for six months and putting these lessons into practice at the World Cup was the goal. With 75 days left until the opening match against Russia, you can wonder what those classes are worth without any form of race rhythm. In Marbella in the past interland period by Saudi Arabia equalized 1-1 against Ukraine, after which Belgium was 4-0 too strong Tuesday.
The first signs were promising. At least, when it comes to attention. Due to the overwhelming interest from Saudi Arabia, the servers at Villarreal were still running wild at the presentation of Al-Dawsari (photo), which caused the site to go offline with the livestream. The actions of the 26-year-old winger in the Estadio de la Cerámica have been limited to peeling with the ball that one day. One time, the mercenary was in the match selection of coach Javier Calleja, who referred to the stands before the kick-off of the Europa League match with Olympique Lyon.
The words of Leganés coach Asier Garitano made the worst suspicion shortly after the announcement of the news. In front of Marca, the Spaniard knew he had no idea of the qualities of his acquisition Al-Shehri: 'I have not seen him play, but when he comes I will see how I can get the best out of him. As I do with every player. But I can not tell you whether he is good enough or not. The only thing I know is that he is international. '
And what does it actually mean for the clubs that the mercenaries have had no input so far? According to El Transistor, the three La Liga clubs each received a million for agreeing to the rental deal. Renting has never been so beneficial. Yet there is certainly criticism. The Spanish players' union, for example, says: "It is a lack of respect for our talents and the players who play at a lower level. Football is not just about money, it's also about values. '
The mega rental deal has proved to be no more than the next stunt of an organization that desperately tries to keep up with the Premier League on a commercial level. At the end of December, the Real fans had to set their alarms for the first time in history to live comfortably at El Clásico, which started at 1:00 PM. The enthusiasts in Asia could thus optimally enjoy. In no other European top competition, matches are spread out over a weekend to optimally serve the TV viewer.
The question is where the limit lies for La Liga, now that seats have been put up for sale in selections.
