Because of conflicts they had with the manager/not being experienced/good enough. Btw, Madjer is a realtively new manager and Christian Gourcuff (their previous manager) was mostly to blame for their lack of qualification to the WC. (Not that Madjer is any better, he would rather yell at journalists who question his tactics/players)

This is really odd, because the According to some African news sources (e.g. 1 or 2 ) they've already arrived in Tehran...
And even the Sierra Leone Football Association still has the game listed as happening??

Not very professional either way. Last minute friendly. No tv broadcasters. No info on tickets. And now it might or might not be cancelled??
