Last goal was not Beiranvand's fault. Do not be ridiculous guys.

And just because a team is down to 10 men, doesn't necessarily mean that they will play worse. Obviously they were prepared for this type of scenario and defended well and scored 2 more on counterattack.

Beiranvand does not deserved to be #1 GK in NT. He has been so full of himself recently and dropped his form significantly. This is a wake up call for all of us. Our defense were absolute shit. CQ kept our goal closed up to the last match. This shows how important the defense is and we conceded 2 goals on counter attacks the same method CQ uses as well. Branko and his team was out classed in this match.

What a shit performance. Terrible giveaways in midfield gifted Al Hilal their goals.
Two players performed today, and by performed I mean Rasan was our best player and our only average player was Nourollahi. 9 players were pretty much a waste of space for the entire game. Can't blame this on Taremi not being there, we actually played like amateurs, there was no excuse for that. All we needed was a bit of composure and one goal when they were a man down. But our defense and midfield decided to play like complete trash. Where the hell was the marking? Why couldn't the midfield complete a single pass or cross? Its not too much to ask for professional soccer players to be able to pass the ball to each other, but apparently that was to much to ask from them today. Conceded two goals from a 10 man Al Hilal, lol nice job!
Also Beiranvand is one of the shakiest goalies we have ever had, he needs to be benched. That is enough. He needs a wake up call, he has had enough chances, something is not right with him anymore, and he needs to sit out a few games.--------------------------Beiranvand-------------------

Unbelievable! Playing almost an entire half against 10 men and still, not only almost no improvement and no goals scored, but we even conceded 2 more!?!
A score of 2-0 was still doable to overcome, but now it's pretty much as good as over. Can't believe we conceded 2 more in the 2nd half!
Very irritating game!Last edited by Amin_; 09-26-2017, 11:11 AM.Persian Pride running through my veins!

Seyed Jalal and Ansari were severely missed. Luckily for Beiro, he has the likes of PAG, Jalal, Montazeri in TM

The players were tired for some reason and could not run. But we have to be fair here that Persepolis was not a match for Al Hilal specially without Ansari, Taremi and Kamyabinia we were not the same team. Hilal was the better team and they deserved this win, but this is football, an anything can happen in the 2nd leg, but we should be realistic that we could not score for 40 minutes against their 10 men, they were a class above our players.
I think we need a playmaker and an all around striker like Taremi as Mensha is a direct and fast player but does not have dribbling abilities to do unexpected moves in the box. Branko did not have many options and we saw the team was losing it's touch after one defeat and a draw in the league and without Tarmei, they clearly had no game plans. And not scoring goals on their chances showed that Persepolis is not the same team without him.
Let's be realistic, we all love our team and want them to succeed but we suck at infrastructure and don't spend serious money as we really need to become professional about the game and build infrastructure and bring coaches and great players to give our football an identity as we do not have any club identity yet we need to learn from these Arab teams as football is mostly decided outside the pitch and a strong logistics team wil win you more games like Al Hilal does.
Cheer up guys, anything is possible in football, so let's at least get some Iranian pride back.__________________________________________________ ________________________________________

Anyhow, we all know by now that with these sort of mismanagements in our clubs even PP f...d up pretty much in big stage. It is the same story of mismanagement, unprofessionalism, and stealing money at our clubs. We can not achieve anything major until we deal with these issues.
