He was complete sh*t against Togo (gave the ball away almost every time), got two lucky goals, he won't score twice against good opposition if he plays like that. However, I think Karim should be given a shot at being the #1 striker going into the World Cup.

Dude that's the worst example you could have picked. He was really bad against Togo in terms of performance. Those two goals (in a friendly) betray a really weak performance.

He has been poor for TM over the 9 years since his debut compared to our other forwards but if he continues like this for his club then meritocratically he can't be ignored for Russia.
