PSV or Ajax would be a bad move. The management and the fans of these clubs don't respect Jahanbakhsh for his potential and talent and only want him because of a great season. I sincerely hope he doesn't go to these two teams. Nothing to gain there.

They were sleeping on him 3 years ago when he scored 2 against Ajax and made the move from NEC to AZ. And now they want him? LOL. Too late fam.

If I remember correctly he also said explicitly in some interview that he's not going to stay in the Eredivisie because he feels he is outgrown and rightly so.

I think his predicted line-up for the first game is almost spot on.
I still think Taremi will be starting on LW with Ghoddos coming off the bench.
Only question mark would be Karimi's position... which I think will be a battle between all midfielders.
We are currently witnessing a revolution in Iranian football. Team Melli has never been stronger than it is today, and we will only get better.

Good article on Jahanbakhsh, interestingly by an Arab publication based in the UK.

A little on the Saudi ref recently banned for corruption at the end.

Can we just change the thread to Alireza Jahanbakhsh @ S.S.C. Napoli | 2018 - 2019 already, since it's pretty evident he's going to sign there?

How are you so sure? They seem to be getting Ancelotti ...

I see many people over social media hinting him going there and since Callejon is going to Milan that leaves a gap for Jahanbakhsh to fulfill, but good news is he said his club will be available before WC in interview.

that doesnt necessarily change anything. ARJ is a player they have been tracking for a long time, and fits in with their philosophy of buying from smaller leagues/teams and integrating them into their system. Players like Zielinski, Rog, Koulibaly, Allan, Ounas, etc all followed this path to get there. It would be an excellent opportunity for ARJ to work with a world class coach like Ancelotti who would get him to next level, make him more effective in big matches.

Especially more so when they saw potential in him, and he fulfilled it. Being Eredivise topscorer was just the icing cake.

I am not saying it will change anything if they do get Ancelotti. I was just adding to the discussion

It looks really cinematic with all the alternative angled shots. Well done to whoever that created it.
