No, he simply had a tactical approach that Karim didn't fit in. Villasboas did the same thing with Adebayor in Tottenham (even though Soldado was garbage) and it also eventually cost him his job, but that wasn't the case with Pep for instance when he booted Ronaldinho out... so it wasn't anything personal, just a gamble.

Why do you want Karim to transfer? He's been getting a lot of playing time under the new coach. He can't play in the CL because the old coach didn't put him on the roster, otherwise he'd be playing
