Guys what's the matter, even teams like San Marino or Gibralter had chances to score against Germany in the back, so who cares, we 8-1, that's pretty professional, I'm satisfied.

Shameful? Have we reached that level of arrogance and cockiness? What are we? an invincible footballing nation? This is just a friendly, if we're to get so emotional and angry over such meaningless friendlies, then what's the purpose of having such friendlies to begin with? a demoralizing plan?Originally posted by TheBoss View PostSo far, Iran 7 - Papua 1
shameful that we let one in
Are you serious? Without even having watched the game and how the goal was conceded? and more importantly under such terrible weather and pitch conditions? I suggest many of you good fellas to get over your emotions, think straight and rationally before making hasty comments which may become the farce of the forum.Originally posted by Kiarash View PostWhoever conceded that goal should not be playing against Syria.

Another loud and clear reason for Ghoochannejad to start. The guy has over and over proven to be of a high quality striker, be it at club or TM level!Originally posted by 04041374 View Post1st goal: Dejagah

3rd goal: Gucci
4th goal: Ansarifard
5th goal: Gucci

7th goal: Gucci
8th goal: Rezaeian
On a side note, I beg of many of you folks, to lighten up, get real and honest to yourselves, and stop being so cocky. The current TM is playing one of its best football (If not the best) ever since the devastating revolution. Let's recognize and cherish this ABSOLUTE SOLID FACT!
Now concede all of the above, and start loving my new wife Margot joon!

Well it all depends on what all professors and experts of PFDC decide. Seems like they're not thoroughly happy with either of our options, as the only criteria is not to have conceded any goals in any match (Yes TM's phenomenal defending display has spoiled us all). PFDC experts have set the standards so high which makes it super hard for them to decide whom should be our GK!Originally posted by Abtin View PostSo, who was the goalie?

Thats why we have friendly games: to have room for error and experimentation. Better to concede a goal now against a bad team and improve our weakness than to concede a goal in a qualifier!Originally posted by Martin-Reza View PostConceding a goal can always happen. But it hurts, because we had a clean sheet so far in 2016 and if we had kept that, it would have been a fantastic record and story.

The PFDC professors and experts have set the standard that 0 goals must be conceded per year. That means 0 goals can be conceded after 10 years. That also means that 0 goals can be conceded after 50 years. anything less than that and we lose our shit.Originally posted by Keano View PostWell it all depends on what all professors and experts of PFDC decide. I'm glad it did rain during the game so the lads would be a bit familiar with the hellish rains in that region. Not only the rain, but the crushing humidity as well.
So to score 8 goals IN RAIN is a difficult task irrespective of the opponent (which was indeed extremely weak). At the same time I'd like to know how they conceded. it'd be interesting
is this game considered as a fifa match or just an inconsequential one?

Macedonia scored one on us back in June as well Martin jaan but that was also a friendly, so as far as competitive matches go (and that's really the important ones) we've had a clean sheet in all our matches in 2016.Originally posted by Martin-Reza View PostConceding a goal can always happen. And hope to finish that way + a nice bang like the result in this match!
On another note, tomorrow (November 12th) will be the anniversary of the last goal scored on TM during a competitive match - lol
