Two issues, which I hope will be addressed and corrected ASAP.
Issue 1- Azadi's grass and overall pitch condition.
Horrible. The grass was cut too long , at least on many areas, which hampered the ball movement. Vor a team that wants to play on the ground, as we shd given our kind of players, the height of the grass shd be low to allow freer movement and flow.
The pitch also was uneven. You could easily see it on TV. I can imagine how the players felt.
This has to be addressed in our home games to prepare as many factors in our favor in home games.
Issue 2- this is to do with the ridiculous amount of lobs and high balls/passes players sent to each other. Simply unacceptable.
Not only controlling these balls by the recipients is harder, it also takes more time which allows the opponents that extra mili-second to get organized.
It was just horrifying how on occasions where a simple ground pass would have done the job, the player kicks UNDER the ball!!!
This cant be excused with lack of coordination or prep or ... . This is something that must be told to players and demanded expressly.
I recognize our midfield was under performing. But that cant be an excuse for this shoddy display.
Play on the ground. That's your strength. Simple.

We keep saying 5 years like the team has been the same team the entire time... also I thought Beiro was shaky at times as well. Luckily we did not pay for it. It was his first real TM match though to be fair to him.
I am willing to give him time.

Dude give him time. We can't start jumping on people after one game. What is more worrying for me is that after 5 years CQ we have not learned how to maintain the ball with a decent passing...instead we go for long balls and loose possion to quickly. This way we will never control the gameOriginally posted by Kiarash View PostGlad I am not the only one who noticed that Beiranvand looked nervous all the time. He had one huge blunder during a Qatari corner, he totally misplaced the ball when he tried to catch it in the air, if it was not for our defenders it would have been a goal for Qatar. He didn't look reliable a bit. I want Haghighi back for the China game.

Speaking of Argentina,
I have watched the video of the game 10 times. Argentina scored only after Ando was badly stepped on and subbed out. With Ando in the game all the time, the result would have been different and also The penalty that was not awarded to Dej ruined his hope. It was a big damage to the team . Damn referee...

*Beiro seemed to be more mistake prone than Haghighi. Also it's going to be a very intense game in China. We need Haghighi's experience and routine.

It's quite unfair to overlook the brilliance of both goals, especially the second goal and call the win a fluke/luck or whatever one wants to label it with. I am glad we did not win by a penalty, especially an incorrect penalty call, or else we would have been bashing the entire team and its coaches LOL.
Folks, may we please put a stop to all these post-match controversial arguments and only focus on the positives and the imminent upcoming match against China? Let's just be happy without trying to prove one another wrong!
Ok. But at the same time, if we ignore our shortcomings and keep sweeping everything under the carpet under the guise of ''lets be happy'', then time will come when the very same problems rear up at the worst possible moment or at the most important time, and we wont have time to do anything about them.
Remember how we went into Bosnia game and how it actually turned out, exactly at the most important match and most crucial venue?

I am still unhappy as that 2nd goal should have been scored against Argentina in WC.
Even had the gif ready for it

Your post confirms your poor judgment.Originally posted by Parham10 View Postno i just like having a bit of fun in my life. You care too much what other people think and want our players/staff to be seen as "well-mannered" to other people. Someone like nekou would laugh at w.e fine afc would give him, and so would I if it was me
