The good news is that it seems the Koreans have no real striker. Their striker just missed from 3 yards out. Their goalie is their second goalie which shows that South Korea really have a shallow bench at GK.

Two of their midfielders that went to Qatar this year are also playing poorly. Their experienced defender is the same age as Hosseini. We should be able to avoid losing to them in both games and push for wins. Just need a strong speedy RB to neutralize Son Heung Min. I know its a bad comparison since Spain is amazing at keeping the ball but this Korean team looks suspect.

Tbh their qualification campaign was mediocre. Maybe their new manager was just testing against weak Asian opponents. They beat Syria 5-0 in March but it could have been at least 8-0. Keep in mind that Japan has more proven players in Europe than Korea and Halilhodzic was one of the best managers in the 2014 WC.
