If Totornto wins the title, Beitashour definitely deserve a call, he is not that old(all 3 are almost same age) and for sure he is not worse than Mahini and Vouria. He is having a hell of season in MLS.

well first off, he can speak Farsi! even if he didn't, why would that matter? look around the world on club teams and even national teams not everyone speaks the same language and they play great together.Originally posted by tufun View PostHe has no chance play for tm. We have much better players, he cant even speak farsi.......
Rezaien is the only right back rn that is better than him. He is on par with Mahini and better than a injury prone Ghafouri and an aging heydari. i dont see why he wouldnt be deserving of a TM call up.

Nailed it.. Beitashour could easily be our best RB option either than Rezaiean... People shit on the MLS but the talent is probably on par with the IPL. They just have better facilities and better star players.Originally posted by saadat_abad View Postwell first off, he can speak Farsi! even if he didn't, why would that matter? look around the world on club teams and even national teams not everyone speaks the same language and they play great together.

Steven Beitashour @ Toronto FC | 2015/16
Ansari - CB, Pourghaz - LB/CB, Aghaei - LB. They will never play RB once in their lives most likely.
Steven's competitors right now are: Rezaeian, Montazeri, Ghafouri, Mahini. (And I only see as relevant the opinion/comparison of the people who follow both IPL and MLS, which isn't the case of the majority here.)
He will be invited if he is needed don't worry, but the reality is some of you inflate the MLS and make it better than it is.
If Beitashour was performing as great as mentioned here in a half decent league, he would be 100% invited since that guarantees that he is a top Iranian RB, however that is not the opinion of our staff.
Current situation suggests our top domestic RB's are better than whatever we have abroad including Beitashour

Here is my comparison of the 2 leagues:Originally posted by O-ZoNe View PostWell I would kindly differ with you since I follow both leagues regularly. Imagine if someone just watched the Tehran Derby year after year and made judgements on the ipl based on yearly draws and low quality games...

IPL:
- Better Talent
-Lack of infrastructure and good pitches
- Better overall quality of play just by a little bit
- 90% of teams are in debt
MLS:
- More money
- Better Foreign imports
-Better infrastructure and football pitches

Beita has a huge disadvantage known as distance. If he is released 3-5 days before a WCQ he can be spending 2 of those days travelling to Iran from Toronto. I believe this is the major reason he hasn't had a recent invite. Otherwise his form, pace, and intensity has all improved since his WC call up where I thought he was just average in 2014.Originally posted by Z Joon View PostAnsari - CB, Pourghaz - LB/CB, Aghaei - LB. Toronto FC VS Montreal player ratings as per MLSsoccer.com:
"Steven Beitashour (5.5) – The right wingback had little effect of any kind for most of the evening. Beitashour struggled on and off the ball – that is, until he served the perfect cross for Toronto's series winner to pull his grade back toward passing."
"In the 97th minute, Frenchman Cheyrou entered the game when Sebastian Giovinco came off injured. Moments later, Cheyrou headed home a cross from Steven Beitashour from the right side and sent the 36,000 fans at BMO Field into delirium.
“(Cheyrou) is a guy with tons of experience, and he sniffed out something could come to the back post,” said Toronto head coach Greg Vanney.
“It was a great service with the left foot by (Beitashour). You don’t have to tell too much to guys like that who have been around the block. They’ve got a pretty good sense of what’s going on in the game.”"

Beitashour plays for probably the best team this season in MLS and by far, i never was a MLS fan but to be honest the league improved a lot in last few years.Originally posted by Z Joon View PostAnsari - CB, Pourghaz - LB/CB, Aghaei - LB. They will never play RB once in their lives most likely.

Glad to see someone acknowledge this, TFC's defence is still faulty at times but they actually play some nice, tactical football usually. There has been an obvious improvement, especially with quality foreign imports like Giovinco and co.Originally posted by Iran_19 View PostBeitashour plays for probably the best team this season in MLS and by far, i never was a MLS fan but to be honest the league improved a lot in last few years.
Hopefully it has a noticeable impact on Canada's seriousness on football too. All the hockey loving becomes irritating haha
