Is the most impressive player in IPL only good enough for a 2. bundesliga team?!!!!! Waaooo! How low have Iranian football sunk?

Unfortunately thats the reality of our football. Hajsafi might be one of the top 5 or even the best player in our league but i wouldnt even be surprised if he struggles to become a starter or get lots of playing time at FSV. Our league is not very strong, certainly weaker than the 2nd divisions of the top leagues, add to that our players being out of their comfort zone when they sign for european teams, new culture, new language..And they are no "stars" anymore unlike in Iran.

A player like Ansarifard was the best striker in our league during the past 4 or 5 years couldnt even
score one single goal in Liga Adelante. Gucci who is one of our best strikers in the past 20 years is struggling in Championship, before that didnt get much playing time in Belgian league. Lets not fool ourselves because of our pride. Our league is pretty weak compared to European leagues which is no shame. I mean seriously a 38 year old Enayati was one of the top strikers in our league past season...

So what im saying is an offer from a Bundesliga 2 team is great for a 25 year old Hajsafi. Years pass by fast and if he waits for a Bundesliga offer he might wait forever..So if theres any truth to it he should definately take it. If he is good enough there and impresses, Bundesliga offers will come automaticly.

It is his own belief that he can make it to a top league easier if he goes to a second div team.

If he is going to join a second division league for me he is most compatible with German football style.

Hopefully the transfer goes through.

A quick look at the new club squad in transfermarkt.com gives you the impression that He will be used in LB position which is the weaker position he can play. He operates the best at LW. Frankfurt has an injured LB which comes back in 4 months, another LB who is suspended for 3 matches, and an insignificant 3rd option. Hajsafi should have selected a better team or at least a position that he plays well not his weakness.

Hes a good utility player. If he has to play left back thats fine I'm sure he well get he's chance at other positions throughout the season.

Son recently signed for Tottenham, quality wise he's not really better than our Azmoun.

overall raw talent wise Son isnt even that much better ARJ, but you think any iranian will ever muster a 22mil. transfer Fee..?? fat chance of that..!!

I think he was trying to say that talent wise many Iranian players are just as good as these Korean/Japanese players so there is no reason they shouldn't be given the free rides to Europe like they are

That could have been Hajsafi, but he's Iranian....

But he has way better stats than Azmoun. He played really good for a top side in Germany so it's really not a surprising new.

On the other hand Park Joo Ho (the Korean defender) went to europe in 2011 and proved himself in the Swiss league and Bundesliga, so once again it's not surprising to see him join a good bundesliga side.

Sepahan sarparast said that Ehsan is for sure no longer with Sepahan. He says he's going to sign with a German team, but he still doesn't know which one. It will be announced when the deal is done.
