    Also got an assist too. Very happy for him, it is his first goal contributions this season I think. He had an injury and was out for a while and lost his starting place. This is his fists game back starting and they are winning 4-0 away at a decent Nuremberg team. Much needed win for the bottom of the table team.

    Edit - wow just checked and SkyBet who use official statistics for their goals/assists have him down as having 3 assists and 1 goal this game.

      Another one who should definitely be in contention for a TM call up! Would surely offer more to the squad than the likes of Kaveh and from a footballing perspective Karim.

        He has been unlucky with his fitness and illness over the last couple of seasons. He got Covid quite bad too which was another period out for him.
        I have said it before but if he can work on his physicality then he can definitely perform well at this level and even for a lower to mid level Bundesliga club.
        No doubt about it though, he is playing in a very good league against teams like Werder Bremen, Schalke and Hamburg. Such a stacked league this season.
        4 goal contributions against a team in 7th is brilliant.

            Ingolstadt had only scored 15 goals in 20 games before this game. This result has come out of nowhere but hopefully they build on it as they are only 4 points off relegation play off place and 7 points from safety with 13 games to go.

              Absolutely crazy stats... Apparently he contributed to all 5 goals with 1 goal and 4 assists... Wow

              If he played literally any other position besides forward, his Team Melli callup would've been automatic. He still deserves a callup over the likes of Kaveh (not over the likes of Alipour, Zahedi yet though IMO)

                  Anyone know if Aria Barzegar has signed with Zenit II or is he trialing with them? He doesn't seem to be in the training pics (they are in Portugal now). But he likes all their pictures. So I am assuming he is still with them.

                      I thought he was with Zenit II??

                      FC Kairat is still a pretty solid team, in a fairly decent enough league. Their manager is also Kurban Berdyev.

                        Not sure if there are club links between Zenit and Kairat. But I think he was trailing for Zenit II.

                        But as long as gets game time, at a the age of 19, this is a good step for him. He will improve immensely.

                            Also, I read many articles (mostly German) and they are all full of praise for him: "outstanding". "superb" and on and on. Let's hope he keeps this up and that Ingolstadt makes it out of the relegation zone.

                                Paya Pichkah will play in Sweden’s top league with Sundsvall.

                                No idea if he is good - but he is 21 yo and a defensive midfielder.
