Well, his team was relegated... I don't think he was highly in demand after such a performance, despite having some standout performances. Most teams in top divisions won't be looking for a GK who wasn't a team leader capable of keeping his team from relegation sadly. If Panafiel hadn't relegated, Haghighi would have been highly in demand.

Well he was back on the bench yesterday versus Zenit as Rubin lose again.

I honestly think because that was an away Europa League game on Thursday, Haghighi didn't go, not because he is now 3rd choice. Maybe he has too many visa issues. Who knows... He hasn't traveled for some Europa League away games before in the past for Rubin.
