He is a true utility player which is always beneficial to have in a squad just incase of injuries. However his overall talent is nothing special but he does seem to be a very good "bache moslamoon" hints why he has success in our league unlike guys like Sadeghian and Mosalman

i think its been proven time and time again that ehsan is not a LB, im not sure why there are people here who see him as the next best after pooladi, hashem is far better than ehsan in defending. however i would still rate him as one of the more versatile players in iran as he can play as a LM, LW, and CM.

As far as freekicks are concerned, Mobali is unmatched in Iran. Hajsafi is not a defender simple, he can play DM, CM and LM, i'm not sure about LW, he's not a natural wingplayer like Jahanbakhsh, Khalatbari or Amiri, but still a better position for him than LB.

He really must be just an average player to have 60+ caps by 25 and been called up by every coach since Ghotbi, and to have started all our WC + AC matches, to have scored an absolute screamer against Bahrain and to have had solid offers from teams such as Hull City and Fulham. On his day, the guy is an absolute beast!

He's one of the best Iranian FK takers imo. Better than Dejagah, on par if not better than Nekounam. Yes, he put one over the bar by some distance vs Uzbekistan but he was also extremely close to score later in the second half
