the key is time, CQ after 2015, manage to get the players he want and the style he wants to play, up to the world cup we had mafia players like rahmati or aghili who taught they owned tm, onces that disaper, players came in line and obey him very well and that bring sucess, i promise you CQ is the only coach in iran that players actually obey, hence this good results and even MK acknolwging

90% are shot some are good but not super world class like cq currently cq is the best coach in Asia if he take Iran to World Cup and take them to last 16 he can get great offers from Europe and go back there and coach again in EuropeOriginally posted by zzgloo View PostThe success of CQ,is a daily reminder to all Iranian fans, that Domestic coaches ,do n't worth a shit....

Is going to happen I am sure unless they can bring in a top world class coach like cq we are doomed I don't think any domestic coach will want to coach tm after cq is gone to much pressure and to much expectation in FIFA ranking we can go even higher than the 19th in the world we went in 2005 but can a Iranian coach really do it for we need to remmber we only made it to World Cup once with a Iranian coach and the rest with foreign coachOriginally posted by PayamPersia View PostIf CQ leaves there will be a huge gap in iranian football.

I feel like we could have in 2014 if that asshole ref gave us our PK against Argentina. We could have won that.Originally posted by PayamPersia View PostHas CQ a new contract know? At least i hope/wish/pray that he will take us to russia and that we progress with him for the first time

If TM qualifies his contract is automatically extended to end of World Cup 2018.

It kills me every time I see that. Goes to show even "top class" WC refs at times don't have the balls to call it they way it really is. In this case a 100% penalty for Iran.Originally posted by TheWheels View PostI feel like we could have in 2014 if that asshole ref gave us our PK against Argentina. We could have won that.

yup if he stay he will be the longest serving iranian coach ,if i was iff, i would increase his pay if iran qualify and give a good fat bonus if iran go up the group, and increase his salaray from 1.5 million euro to 3-4 million, people say is alot, i dont, when you bring stability, and reputation to the national team, where other nations take you seriously and you play good football, you have to give him good money, if he get 3-4 million euro he wont go europe. but the issue is IFF wont pay the money, however if people pressure like fans and other for his contract to be renewed after either 2018 or 2019 , they will pay, and he earned it, iran have not lost 90 min game to any asian team from 2012, he brought many new players after 2014 world cup, after people were saying he use to many old players, create a good tactic, strong defense, which historically we alway had shitty defense, have not lost to big team, we played korea 4 times, and they have not scored once, did resonabily well in world cup and asian cupOriginally posted by Iran_19 View PostHe will most likely stay until the end of Asian Cup also.

The thing is CQ already gets paid very well at 1.5 million a year. I remember looking at the Euro 2016 coaches salaries this past summer and saw CQ being paid more than 75% of the Euro coaches. CQ even gets paid more than the likes of Didier Deschamps or Fernando Santos. I would however give him a raise for what he has done for our football going forward. To stand in the face of IFF and fighting for Iranian people itself is a big accomplishment. Hopefully we keep CQ and the staff together up to 2022 WC, but we will see. I do look at the TM job as being attractive on a global scale once CQ leaves...

simply because he is the coach, the assistant coach, the fitness coach, sports director, green keeper, equipment manager in one personOriginally posted by naderb94 View PostThe thing is CQ already gets paid very well at 1.5 million a year.
