UAE team has been playing together from U-17 and they are coached by a smart Iranian (mahdi Ali)who knows the team and has created a real cohesive squad who play as one.

And our overpaid CQ can not create that after 5 years at the helm of TM

Well I think the first part of his comment is vital too.

Most of their group has been together throughout these 5 years (or since they were 17), whilst CQ has had to asses players, throw out players that weren't good enough, and transition out older players with younger/lesser experienced players in the last 5 years.

All of this has had to be done together with IFF's incompetence in training camps, kits, as well the lack of corporation with the domestic coaches.

In other words, CQ has made it as cohesive as possible with TM, with the ever-changing group of players that he has got.

IMO what CQ has done in 5 years is much bigger than what UAE coach has done.

The thing is that the skeleton of the UAE U17 team has been kept.
On the other side, young players like Taremi, Torabi, Mohammadi and Shojaeian and Ali Karimi were nobodies and have never been invited to any U-national team before they made it to IPL. And then there are invited players like Ghafouri, Pourghaz, Zahivi, Amiri and Ebrahimi, who have never played for any U-national team.

From our U17 national team, that beat the Netherlands in 2009, only PAG is getting invited to TM.

IFF incompetance about camps, kits etc.. has nothing to do with CQ insisting with underperforming Shojaei, Heydari (and not on their best position) and so during so long. And he is doing the same with Hajsafi as a left back while we have a promising Milad.

I do agree with in that CQ is a little stubborn in his choice of players sometimes, but as long as we keep getting 3 points against anti-football teams such as Qatar, we should be good.

haha, man all I can do is laugh at some of you....you guys are never happy and will never be happy...how did you watch TM in the past years and say they are not cohesive after one bad game....

Did you guys forget asian cup?

Also UAE might be semi-decent now but what has that gotten them in the last 5 years? nothing really.

Just relax and at least try to enjoy TM's victories once in a while.

There IS a thing called ''Fine tuning''. Which means although one may get favorable and satisfactory results in what they do, there are always ways to better it, or fine tune it to get more out of it.

So there's nothing wrong with wanting higher quality in a few areas that leave us wanting, or at least show sub-par performances. Even when we may be happy and satisfied overall.

Surely nobody can be satisfied with the first 75 minutes of the game, QUALITY WISE. I havent come across anyone at least. They all agree our performance could have been much better.

But we also must acknowledge the lack of preparation and friendlies. Hopefully the team will get going and improve.

Completely agree with you, no one is happy with the quality of the match overall.

But it is also not correct to come out and just complain about things which aren't true like saying TM has never been cohesive etc. I think everyone agrees that TM is much better and needs to play much better than what they showed in the last game.

LOL the 8-0ers only managed to beat Thailand at home (in Saudi Arabia) 1-0 and that was because of a penalty too. Apparently some Thai player also got a red card AFTER the game for arguing with the ref after full time.

On a similar note. Kazakhstan drew with Poland! Since they play in Europe they have improved and. I would definitely implore IFF arrange a friendly with them prior to the Uzbek game!

Thailand will beat Saudi Arabia in Thailand. If not a win they will get a point.

Clearly they bought the match. I mean just look at the refereeing.

Saudis will not survive vs Japan/Australia both home/away. Unless they buy their home matches like they bought the Thailand match.
