Maybe it is because there is no infrastructure to broadcast in HD in Iran? Do people in Iran still use those outdoor VHF/UHF antennas to watch IRIB channels?

      Huh?
      The contractors were all Iranian.
Only foreign person involved in the project was one of the architects. The other architect was also Iranian.

Obviously some of the materials are from outside of Iran though (such as the roofing material).

The roof, grass and seats are all done by foreign companies. These are the things that matter in a stadium!

Yes, they matter, but they're not the core of the stadium. The structure is what takes the longest and costs the most. Look at Naghshe Jahan for example. The structure is still not done.
And the seats don't require much engineering. Based on the structure and stand size and load capacity you can only fit in so many seats.

I like how that one douche says "this is the biggest accomplishment after the revolution (occupation)". This basically means it took IR (the occupiers) 37 years to build something.. nice stats..

20.000 seats to be changed and re-installed in Yadegar Emam stadium. After the game against Naft, many Tractor fans broke the seats and therefore some parts of the stadium are without seats.

These fans need to be fined and prosecuted. Bloody joke.

Tractor should be fined and ordered to play one or more home games without their fans,..

What does the guards do in the stadium? just watching? They should beat them up and force them to pay for vandalism. This is just BS. I remember Iranian police beat up and jailed Ahvazi spectators for doing the same during a foolad match, why not doing the same to Azeri hooligans?

Most times the "guards" end up just being conscripts that are doing their mandatory 2 year service, so they won't actually do anything. Now if they end up being IRGC, Basij or Police then they might end up doing something.

And they still can't play their games at home, so no point in getting jealous at their non-functional stadiums.
