If Iran would be playing with 10 men behind the ball against Germany you guys would ask for CQ's head immediatelyOriginally posted by Bi-honar View PostIt's against Germany dude, the game is in Germany and since I started watching they've actually been pressing hard and defending almost in Germany's half most of the time.
But even if they were playing defensive, that's the whole point of having different tactics and formations and that's what some of us have been saying the whole time. You don't play the same way against Qatar that you would against the world champions.

Well, when you're defending 90% of the time there's 10 men behind the ball!Originally posted by Kiarash View PostIf Iran would be playing with 10 men behind the ball against Germany you guys would ask for CQ's head immediately
The question is how far up the field those 10 men are and how much are they pressing the other team.
I had absolutely no issues with how Iran played against Argentina. Sadly, that was our peak under CQ and why everyone keeps mentioning that game.
My problem is playing the same way against the likes of Qatar, UAE and even S. Korea.
All that aside, Australia are not playing defensive in this game since I started watching. Look how hard they press and how far up the field they do that.

How did we parked the bus during the Korea encounter in Tehran 2012? That was probably are most offensive game in the entire WCQ because we needed to win.Originally posted by Bi-honar View PostWell, when you're defending 90% of the time there's 10 men behind the ball!

I'm pretty much sure I just saw a six-man Aussie back line when I tuned in at the 20th minute.

Was talking about the 2013 game in Korea (away game similar to this one for Australia) and it was more or less the same thing in the 2014 home game in Tehran.Originally posted by Kiarash View PostHow did we parked the bus during the Korea encounter in Tehran 2012? Man, the Germans have really been struggling to find their form since the WC. At first Lowe tried a complete generational change in a friendly against Argentina that ended up being a total disaster (4-2 Argentina).
Since then he has been tweaking a mixture old and new, but for the most parts they've been really struggling to find their tempro. A 2-0 loss to Poland in EuroQ, followed by a 1-1 tie with Ireland in Germany in the same competition and now this.
Amma khodasih shire Australia. They've accomplished a lot and gained a lot of respect with a domestic relatively inexperienced coach that I thought would fail a long time ago rebuilding a team that was completely in tatters.
Look how far they've come since WCQ in 2013 and look how far we have.

You are right. A draw with the world champs makes the representives of Asia look bad because we were expected to dominate on the world champ's home ground.Originally posted by Kiarash View PostWhat are you saying brother?

Total bias opinion from you. If you hate Australia, just say so.
