Should Australia stay in the AFC?

In other words they are saying Australia can stay as long as they don't win. AFC couldn't even beat New Zealand and it was a gulf nation Bahrain who failed to beat them in the inter-continental playoff not so long ago. They just suck at football and its the only code they play. In Australia its the 4th biggest code and they still field a team at club level that wins the AFC Champions League and a national team that smashes them routinely.
They don't want to open up their society, markets and minds to allow themselves a chance of developing to a level to be competitive on the world stage.

If I could I would kick both Arab and Australia out of AFC.Originally posted by Oz1 View PostIf you want to watch their crappy football there is always their "Gulf Cup" for your entertainment.
My hate for these countries aside, Australia add nothing to Asia and is just there to profit from Asia: no more exposition on Asia (they are very good at asian level but not recongnized much globally), take a WC spot to others, give dishonnest referee (who waited 18 years to revenge from melbourne miracle).
Don't say me other Asian teams will progress playing them (Iran and Iranian club never meet them BTW). I don't care about Asian level, the only thing that I care is the qualification for WC and Confereation cup to escape the neverending asian mediocrity and be more on the radar globally, gain some reputation outside. And What I See is that Australia makes it harder now for us to raise from the asian sh1thole.

I would like to propose that we also kick Brazil, Germany, Argentina, Holland, France, Italy and any other country that is stronger than us out of the World Cup. With such teams present we will never be able to win the World Cup.I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Australia has only 22 million people and Football is the 4TH biggest code here. They still dominate 99% of Asia and you reckon nothing can be learned from the way they govern and play sport? Think about that for second that's actually truly remarkable.Originally posted by PSGman#19 View PostIf I could I would kick both Arab and Australia out of AFC.

Your mentality is the exact mentality why AFC has sucked for too long and why you used to get results like 8-0 at the WC level. Respect is only earned when you can compete at the top level not when you go the WC to make up the numbers. Australia brings respect to AFC because they try to play good football and compete in the spirit of the game. Most West Asian teams bring shame to AFC with the manner in which they play.

When Australia drew Spain, Chile and Holland in their group last WC everyone was over the moon here even though they knew they had little chance to progress. This is a winning mentality because people here want to play the best because football is what it is about not "getting to the next stage playing shit football".Originally posted by KC McElroy View PostI would like to propose that we also kick Brazil, Germany, Argentina, Holland, France, Italy and any other country that is stronger than us out of the World Cup. Oceania teams played them for years, I don't think they progress significantly.Originally posted by Oz1 View PostAustralia has only 22 million people and Football is the 4TH biggest code here. Adding one good team to the confederation won't help us. We never played them neither at national level nor at club level (BTW I have the feeling we only play arab teams since they joined AFC), so I don't understand what it brings us concretly. We don't learn from playing them since they are here, they makes us harder to reach WC to have exposition globally and play top level match (seeing our difficulties to have good friendlies).
If you want to level up asian football you need to add numerous good teams to it. One isn't enough and isn't worth nothing.

I think you aren't thinking logically here.

Adding one good teams is like doing lifting once every 2 years (you play rarely against this good team). it's not enough to gain muscle.
Adding numerous good teams is like doing lifting twice or more a week (as you play them in a regular basis through asian competitions). you progress straight

So would you be ok with keeping Australia and also adding Brazil, Germany and Argentina to AFC?Originally posted by PSGman#19 View PostI take an exagerate example :

So how are you going to be competitive at the WC Finals if all you are playing is shit footballing countries like Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain? In your weightlifting example you are training with 5KG weights and then trying to lift 180KG at the competition.Originally posted by PSGman#19 View PostI take an exagerate example :

Some people want to see their team at the WC Finals more than developing a good national team. Trust me man the world doesn't give a shit about crap teams who go the WC Finals and do nothing for the game. If anything it makes their club more important to them because at least they play good football and they don't have to tear eyes out watching it.
