What hurts the most about this loss is that under any other ref, this game would've been put to bed for Iran 3-0 or 4-0 quite easily.

But it's football, mistakes happen, the ref is only human. We must be prepared to deal with these setbacks better in the future.

Ok, this is getting ridiculous! I believe in my fair share of conspiracies, from 911 being an inside job, to AIDS being a made up disease, but for fuck sakes we lost this game thanks to ourselves and no one else!

1. Pooladi for flopping around like a little bitch and earning his second yellow, (red)


2. Pouraliganji for that tackle in the box! Messl-e shottor! I mean come on guy! WTF are you doing!?!? are you trying to give away a PK?

3. Then the missed penalties!

I'm also disappointed in Haghighi, I was hoping he was able to catch at least ONE of those PKs, but he didn't.

So, lets act like grown men/women and stop blaming AFC, ARABS, etc etc for all of our missed opportunities. To be frank, I thought the officiating wasn't that bad! I've WAAAAYYYY worse on WAY more important cups.

Pooladi's first foul was barely a foul let alone a card. And the goalie's action of pushing Pooladi was equally wrong.
