ugly win, for most of the game wayyyy too much space between the midfield and the attacking line, which was too far forward, and so no space/time for buildup. hence why we didn't see ashkan dribbling anyone like the bahrain game and hajsafi's basically complete absence playmaking-wise. masoud cannot shoulder the entire responsibility of getting it from our own penalty spot to the opposition goal area.

Have you guys noticed how UAE games are more attractive and open compared to Iran games!?
I think they will be a good test for our defense line and midfield and we'll be a good test for their forward performance.

I think the key to win the last game is to stop the Afro from getting the ball and denying him time and space by making him tightly.
I think it is going to be the dirty work Ando has to take on!

I'm not sure how UAE is going to play against us, I just hope we'll play the subs and win it convincingly.

I am not convinced with the game at all, really embarrassing that we cant put together a few good passes. no pace on the passes, no direction. You would expect them to kill the game after going up

btw we have NO counter attack tactics at all - just awful bus parking, and then dejagah/gucci lose the ball by dribbling into nowhere. the only 2 games in 4 years during CQs reign that we saw a real counter atacking tactics was arghantin and iraq game a couple of weeks ago.

australia scored alot of goals, but thier defense is weak ,plus iran had a good tactic, we could have scored another goal if we didnt screw up. CQ will most likley play jahanbaksh last game,iran has a good foundation,today gucci was abit poor but i am sure next game he will be better.we need to remmber korea has been poor and japan have not played a good team yet, we dont know maybe iraq will beat japan
