We not going to get much friendlies so this is good practice.

Tbh though, what kind of preparation are we talking about? It's one thing if you play strong teams and get your weakness exposed so you can work on them, it's another if you never address those weaknesses.Originally posted by oracle View Post

I can go and find a thread from early 2023 saying CAFA when we conceded to Afghanistan, and people were like "man I hope our defense gets better with Manicone joining". Well now it's almost 20 TM games later and our defense is probably worse 🤣.
People celebrating that we 5-0 and 6-0 teams like Tajikistan have a big awakening coming when Shoja, Beiro, Milad, and Kanaani gets matched against any top 30 team

Nice competition and more fun to play these teams than time wasting arab teams, although it’s been far too long since we’ve faced Saudi Arabia / Australia out of the Asian teams I’d like to see us play soon. Seems like WCQ or AC we always get the same opponents for some reason.
agree it would be great if they could’ve squeezed in Russia.
whatever happened to the WAFF tournament btw? I remember we won it in 2007, CQ was critiqued for not Winning it, then I never saw it again.--------------------------Beiranvand-------------------
