We should have the CAFA Championship before the Asian Cup.

I don't understand why there hasn't been such a tournament yet for the senior sides. They established this association 3 years ago, what's so hard in organizing a tournament?

It is a good practice for your younger players to get experience. Uzbekistan would probably challenge us the most in this Cup. Turkmenistan has also proven not to be an easy side to beat.

If Georgia, Armenia, Iraq and Turkey would be included, it would be great!

It seems they are really taking their time. So far there has been 4 Tournaments: Men's U-15 and Men's U-19, Women's U-15 and Women's U-19. Both U-15 events were hosted in Tajikistan and U-19 events in Uzbekistan. The Women's U-15 event is missing from wikipedia, it was won by Uzbekistan. These are some links for it:

For Senior Tournament, I think for starters any invitees from the following would be good:

Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Albania, Kosovo, Cyprus, Turkey.

If want to make it a complete Central Asia tournament, then invite Kazakhstan & Mongolia the only two Central Asian nations who are not members, Kazakhstan due to being a UEFA member and Mongolia is still with EAFF.

No country who participate in tournaments that use an imaginary name instead of Persian Gulf should be invited. If Greece forces their national airline Olympic Airlines to redo their maps to show Persian Gulf instead of that bogus imaginary name that they currently use, then Greece can be invited as well

Iraq won't be a part of this federation. Stop including them. Armenia, Georgia and Turkey are from UEFA. They can be occasional guests.

We are only 20km away from Tajikistan at nearest point. So we should be in some pre-qualifying round or something like that

Nah! Your team belongs to SAFF they can just walk to India through the Wagah Border Crossing, although before that happens FIFA should remove the ban on your Football federation

Yes, the ban has been lifted and Pakistan are participating in the SAFF championship in Bangladesh and the Asian games in Indonesia, both in 2018...

2018 CAFA Cup will be held 8-16 October 2018. I suggest we open a new thread for it and keep all news related to it in that thread.
