1-Iran has not won the cup as one of the top Asian Powers in 40 years
2-By winning the cup we will get a chance to play 3 top quality competetive games in the Confederations Cup in 2017
and for us who never get to play any great friendly games,this will be very helpfull
3-It will bring back national confidence to our team and country
4-we will have an easier time testing some younger talents and developing them after winning the cup
5-Kaffashian and Quireosh must be smoking crack if they think only making the WC 2018 is important as our only goal

For as long as we suffer from lack of a good and consistent oak scorer up front, we will continue on with our failure trend at big combat fields. We only have a Ghoochannejad whose presence at the Qatari league may deteriorate our chances of having luck up front an last touches.

Daei was our last star striker, ever since his decline we have been suffering in capitalizing on our golden chances which is precisely one decade now!

We won the 1990 Asian Games under IR and back then it was still full national teams participating, not U23 teams.

But i agree that one of the main reasons for not winning the main Asian cup is the IR. Their mismanagement has played a huge role.
