It seems like Haghighi will stay with Rubin next season. There are injuries to Nesterenko and Filtsov so they would like him to stay as 2nd choice GK.Comment

Why should he be a 2nd goalkeeper in the Russian league when he had a good World Cup and decent season in Portugal?
He should opt for Portugese league and go to a team which needs him as a 1st GK.Comment

Except if he's a rotation keeper who will get 1/2 games at least, he should indeed leave or else I don't see why he should stay Iran's 1st choice while being a benchwarmer in Russia.
