I think the friendly against Lebanon is set to be played in January as TM was going to held a training camp during the Olympic qualifiers. Both the Iranian and the Lebanese league are going to have a winter-break. Plus, it's a non-FIFA day, so it's very unlikely to play against quality national teams.
During this camp, a lot of newcomers will feature I guess.

Joking aside, good to see that CQ's extended vacation issue has been resolved (Kaffashian confirming they have no problem with it) and that Eslamian reiterated that lack of proper training pitch is still a valid issue.

Why are you complaining so much? We played against Chile and Sweden this year. Every single friendly game cant be against top teams. Its a good friendly to test new players and to prepare for the Oman game later on.

Why does everyone believe every iranian media rumour when its about lebanon or iraq but quickly call friendly rumourw with good teams bs. If we were to believe everything then we were supposed to play iraq 3 times in the past few months.

For January that would be a quite good friendly. We probably wont have any of our european legionaires available and the next FIFA days are in March where we will play our 2 remaining home qualifiers.
