We are not in his shoes and don't know how much IFF and sport ministry are faithful about their promises they made in April. CQ started really good with promises to have several camps and friendlies. Go back and read the IFF promises about how many friendlies and camps they agreed to have. I don't know why CQ left the team for whole summer but later it will be revealed by some players or staff members not now. Right now I trust CQ more than IFF, although CQ down playing Iran in general all the time is getting annoying.

Do we have a better alternative considering our sport ministry does not want to pay any coach in CQ level? Just look at our Olympic staff and you realize what they are preparing for our national team.

You're right PL jaan, we don't know about most of the stuff behind the scenes. But I'm only talking about the friendlies here - we do know about that stuff since it's out in the open. And my question is definitely not about CQ vs. alternatives.

I just don't understand why they keep bringing up the issue of the friendlies. Perhaps, if they're a little more specific, it would be more helpful to everyone. For example, they can say we asked IFF for friendlies for July and August or November against such and such opponent and they failed to arrange it.

Merely repeating the same problem over and over is not going to resolve it and this constant finger pointing is definitely not in the best interest of TM. That's really all I care about and I think shifting focus to solutions, rather than repeating the problems, is the best way to go forward.

What makes me angry is that Western media outlets exaggerate the story. That Dejagah is going to be banned for life is pure fabrication from these assholes to put Iran in a negative light. The media of a country has the opinion of another country based on what their government dictates to them. Once the deal passes, and they give the green light for better ties, you'll start to see travel ads to Iran.

I have a bad feeling we are going to underestimate India based on initial photos of autographs/selfies. I have been reading that Indias coach is bonkers though, playing Chettri as a LM. They have one 6'1 striker who is named Robin Singh. Hosseini should be careful.

From browsing Indian forums, it looks like Indias midfield has a rough time with posession. If they do choose to bunker Im curious to see what we do since we typically dont do well against Qatar/Bahrain bunkering.

There are only two possible culprits in making Iran or Iranians look bad in general, giving the timing at the moment.

1. Xenophobe right wingers who hate Islam and immigrants in general (ISIS and fanaticism) but can not distinguish between Sunni and Shia. Iran is also an easy target for them, since there is no serious reaction for whatever garbage they throw at us, so they satisfy themselves by talking shit about us. (Thanks to AD our international image is like an old dog whoever like can kick and nobody bother or care)

2. Right winger Jewish/Israeli lobbies who want to catch the public attention with rubbing mud at our face. This group don't care if we are non Muslims, Muslims, supporters of regime, or opposition. They only try to up lift their own agenda, and that is their biggest strategist failure.

Just imagine if they say the same lies about Saudi Arabian or Israeli football federation. They will be toasted almost constantly in media.

Yellow journalism should be considered as well. They are only after catchy titles even if they are pure fabricated lies.

So the tattoo thing looks to be going away. The head of the disciplinary committee resigned today and one of his reasons was Kaffashian's comments that the Azmoun and Dejagah issue shouldn't have been announced to the media.

Before that the guy claimed he could ban them and fine them. But it was obvious that neither Azmoun nor Dejagah were going to show up.
